The Majestic

With a single touch, Meira Radford can see how someone will die—ever since the night she miraculously survived a fire ten years ago. Desperate for answers, Meira and her best friend, Cam, venture to a new exhibit at The Majestic, a Coney Island odditorium, claiming to show visitors their future deaths. But an accidental encounter with the alluring Rayne—whose death she can't see—later reveals he's a reaper, dooming souls to become just like him, forever bound to serve the Horseman of Death. And now, he's reaped Cam's soul.

Determined to prevent Cam from becoming a reaper, Meira reluctantly makes a bargain with Rayne, who has a vendetta of his own. The unlikely trio set out to find the lost pieces of The Seraphic Blade, the sole weapon capable of killing a Horseman. Success means freeing all reapers from Death's grasp and halting Cam's transformation, but as they navigate perilous trials and dark secrets, Meira's feelings for Rayne become murkier than the River Styx, while Cam loses more of his humanity every day.

When Death is released from Purgatory and Meira finally uncovers the truth about their intertwined pasts and her role in his apocalyptic plans, she faces a harrowing choice—protect her best friend and the boy she loves at the cost of countless lives or sacrifice her own soul to end Death's reign once and for all.
